Fisichella: R27 design needs much work |

Giancarlo Fisichella believes that Renault needs to make radical changes to its R27 to close the gap on Ferrari and to a lesser extent McLaren. According to the 34-year-old, the team can take no aspect of the car for granted as they look to improve its performance. |

No French Grand Prix in 2008 |

The French Motor Sporting Federation (FFSA) has confirmed that there will not be a French Grand Prix next year. This follows news earlier today from French newspaper L'Equipe that Magny Cours would not take place in 2008 due to accommodation and access problems. |

ING Renault F1 Team today completed its third day of testing at the Sepang circuit in Malaysia. However, rainstorms during the day disrupted running for all teams, and the decision has been taken to extend the test by an additional day. |

BRDC excited about masterplan |

The British Racing Drivers' Club is confident that its masterplan to redevelop the Silverstone circuit will establish the British Grand Prix as the centre of the racing world. The Northamptonshire-based track has a contract to hold the British Grand Prix until the end of 2009 but is in urgent need of improving its facilities to keep its status. |
