Timo Glock is hoping to seize his second chance in F1 as he lines up as one of BMW Sauber's two test drivers. Glock raced in F1 for Jodan in 2004, but has consigned the experience to history. |

Theissen backs new Friday format |

BMW team principal Mario Theissen has given his backing to the new format for Grand Prix Fridays. The two practice sessions on Friday will no longer be subject to the 'one-engine for two GP weekends' rule, and will be 90 minutes in length which means teams can do some serious testing. |

Mika Hakkinen will stay in DTM for a third season, ending speculation over his future possibly as a McLaren test driver. Hakkinen's DTM future had been in doubt after a disappointing season, but Mercedes has announced he will be back. |

Felipe Massa was upbeat despite crashing the new Ferrari F2007 during testing at Vallelunga near Rome on Friday. The crash did nothing to help the Italian squad whose plans have been blighted by poor weather conditions. |
