Nelson Piquet is hopeful his son could make an F1 race debut as early as next season, if Giancarlo Fisichella fails to pick up where Fernando Alonso left off at Renault. Heikki Kovalainen will replace Alonso but Piquet believes that if he outshines Fisichella, the Italian could get the chop sooner rather than later. |

McLaren will most likely not release Kimi Raikkonen earlier from his contract to make it possible to test Ferrari's F1 car. The Finn said earlier this month he doesn't mind really, but now he does say he hopes to have some sort of test with Ferrari. |
