The 2006 Brazilian Grand Prix marks the end of an era as Michelin bows out of Formula One for the second time. The Clermont-Ferrand company has competed in 216 world championship grands prix, initially from 1977-1984 and more recently from 2001-2006. During that time it has scored 102 victories with seven teams and 20 drivers en route to amassing nine world championship titles (five for drivers, four for constructors). |

The Brazilian Grand Prix was joy for some, but saying farewell for many. Most of the media attention went to Michael Schumacher, who drove his last Formula One race at Interlagos. But there were many more saying farewell to Formula One. F1Racing.net looks back at those who said goodbye on Sunday. |

Reasonable end of the season for Albers |

The Brazilian Grand Prix went better than expected for Albers. He was able to slowly move up the field and fight with a number of drivers for position. In the end Albers was unable to score a point though unfortunately. |
