Damper ban spurred Renault to victory - Bell |

Renault technical director Bob Bell says the contraversial decision by the FIA to ban mass dampers from the German Grand Prix onwards actually spurred his team on to victory. The Renault car suffered without the dampers but Bell maintains the team was far more determined to win even without the mechanism. |

Spanish bank sign €10 million deal with McLaren |

The Spanish bank Santander Bank was announced as McLaren's latest sponsor. The bank signed the deal this morning at its office in Madrid, Spain. The news comes just a week after McLaren signed another Spanish sponsor, an insurance company called Mutua Madrileña. |

Bruno Senna, Ayrton Senna's nephew, hopes to spend a couple more seasons racing in lower formulae before making the jump into Formula One. The 23-year-old Brazilian will most likely join the GP2 series next season in order to prepare himself for Formula 1. |
