Having withdrawn from F1 to allow Bridgestone to be the sole tyre supplier in the sport, Michelin has also just lost a bid to become the sole tyre supplier to the World Rally Championship. The FIA decided to award the deal to Pirelli instead. |

Ralf Schumacher was back in action alongside Jarno Trulli yesterday. The German had recovered from his sore back following a rest on Tuesday afternoon after a spin and he returned to join Jarno in trying out different set-ups and gathering information from the new aerodynamic package. |

On the second day of its three day test programme at the Circuit de Catalunya, near Barcelona, Spain, the Spyker team continued to work on optimising set-up and collecting tyre data in preparation for next month's Australian Grand Prix. In the afternoon the team's race drivers, Christijan Albers and Adrian Sutil, also conducted race simulations. While Adrian completed a full race distance, Christijan's running was however limited by a minor mechanical problem. |
